This Policy explains how Cashintel collects, uses, stores, and protects information through SCS. Use of SCS implies consent.

2. Information We Collect

• User-provided data: Account information, profile details, financial goals, Segio chat conversations
• Automatic data: Device information, IP addresses, analytics, cookies
• Third-party data: Information from Plaid, Stripe, Supabase, OpenAI, Vercel, Resend

Cashintel does not store bank credentials directly.

3. Use of Information

Data is used to operate, personalize, and improve the Service, communicate updates, and comply with legal obligations. Aggregated or anonymized data may be used for analytics and product development.

4. Data Anonymization

Cashintel may anonymize and aggregate user data for research and performance improvement. Anonymized data cannot be linked back to individual users.

5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR/UK)

We process personal data based on: contractual necessity, legitimate interests, user consent, and legal obligation.

6. Sharing of Information

Data is shared only with service providers or authorities when required by law. Cashintel does not sell personal information.

7. Data Retention and Export Rights

Information is retained as long as necessary to provide services or comply with law and is deleted or anonymized within 30 days of verified account deletion.

Users may request a full export of their information in a machine-readable format.

8. Data Security

Encryption is applied in transit and at rest. Reasonable safeguards are implemented, but no system is completely secure.

9. Device Loss or Unauthorized Access

Cashintel is not responsible for misuse of data following device loss, theft, or hacking.

10. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Cashintel is not responsible for errors arising from user inputs or third-party integration failures.

11. Children's Privacy

SCS is for users 18 and older. Future educational features (13+) will require verified parental consent and COPPA/FERPA compliance. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

12. International Data Transfers

Data may be processed in other countries where providers operate. Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and Data Processing Addendums (DPAs) are used to ensure protection. By using SCS, you consent to these transfers.

13. User Rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your information via cashintel51@gmail.com (identity verification required). You also have the right to data portability where applicable.

14. AI Chatbot (Segio)

Segio provides general informational responses only. Conversations may be logged to improve accuracy. These interactions are not financial or legal advice.

15. Smart Marketplace and Third-Party Offers

• A. Independence of Sponsors — Inclusion does not imply endorsement.
• B. AI Suggestions — Segio may automatically recommend offers; these are informational only.
• C. No Responsibility — Cashintel is not liable for poor deals or unresponsive sponsors.
• D. User-Sponsor Relationship — All transactions are solely between user and sponsor.
• E. Release of Liability — Users release Cashintel from any claims arising from sponsor interactions or AI recommendations.

16. Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)

Cashintel maintains written DPAs with Plaid, Stripe, Supabase, and other third-party processors to ensure compliance with GDPR Article 28 and other global standards.

17. Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach posing a material risk, Cashintel will notify affected users and regulators in accordance with applicable laws.

18. Business Transfers

If Cashintel, LLC is involved in a merger or acquisition, user data may be transferred under equivalent privacy protections.

19. Limitation of Global Liability & Jurisdiction Enforcement

Smart Cash Sheet is operated by Cashintel, LLC in Georgia, USA.

• A. Global users access SCS voluntarily and must comply with local laws.
• B. Disputes are governed by Georgia law with exclusive jurisdiction in Fulton County.
• C. Liability is limited to fees paid in the prior 90 days.
• D. Cashintel cannot guarantee full compliance with every jurisdiction's privacy laws but commits to reasonable global standards (GDPR, UK DPA, PIPEDA, etc.).
