This Policy explains how Cashintel collects, uses, stores, and protects information through SCS. Use of SCS implies consent.
Cashintel does not store bank credentials directly.
Data is used to operate, personalize, and improve the Service, communicate updates, and comply with legal obligations. Aggregated or anonymized data may be used for analytics and product development.
Cashintel may anonymize and aggregate user data for research and performance improvement. Anonymized data cannot be linked back to individual users.
We process personal data based on: contractual necessity, legitimate interests, user consent, and legal obligation.
Data is shared only with service providers or authorities when required by law. Cashintel does not sell personal information.
Information is retained as long as necessary to provide services or comply with law and is deleted or anonymized within 30 days of verified account deletion.
Users may request a full export of their information in a machine-readable format.
Encryption is applied in transit and at rest. Reasonable safeguards are implemented, but no system is completely secure.
Cashintel is not responsible for misuse of data following device loss, theft, or hacking.
Cashintel is not responsible for errors arising from user inputs or third-party integration failures.
SCS is for users 18 and older. Future educational features (13+) will require verified parental consent and COPPA/FERPA compliance. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Data may be processed in other countries where providers operate. Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and Data Processing Addendums (DPAs) are used to ensure protection. By using SCS, you consent to these transfers.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your information via cashintel51@gmail.com (identity verification required). You also have the right to data portability where applicable.

Cashintel maintains written DPAs with Plaid, Stripe, Supabase, and other third-party processors to ensure compliance with GDPR Article 28 and other global standards.
In the event of a data breach posing a material risk, Cashintel will notify affected users and regulators in accordance with applicable laws.
If Cashintel, LLC is involved in a merger or acquisition, user data may be transferred under equivalent privacy protections.
Smart Cash Sheet is operated by Cashintel, LLC in Georgia, USA.
If you choose, you can connect your own AI assistant (such as ChatGPT or Claude) to your Smart Cash Sheet account using our connector. The connection is read-only: the assistant can look up your accounts, projected balances, upcoming bills, recent transactions and debts, and it cannot create, change or delete anything in your account. When the assistant asks a question, we send it only the figures that the requested tool returns, never the wider conversation, and we do not store the questions or answers; we keep a short log of which tool was called, when, and for which assistant. What you and the assistant say to each other is governed by the assistant provider's own privacy policy. You can disconnect an assistant at any time in Profile → Connected AI assistants. Reading your figures may refresh Smart Cash Sheet's own projection rows, the same routine bookkeeping the dashboard performs whenever you open it.
